Sweet Nostalgic Classics: Necco® Wafers Review



I recently received an 11oz. bag of the original Necco® Wafers to review with much thanks and fanfare due to TwitterMoms and Schneider Public Relations.

I fondly recall the tasty good times of childhood years gone by, often delivered by these crisp, thin sweet wafers. In case you didn't know, Necco® wafers are lightly flavored colored disks of sugar stamped with the iconic Necco® name.


NECCO®  is the catchy acronym for the New England Confectionery Company, which dates its start back to the summer of 1847. It is the oldest multi-line candy company in the United States.   1. I remember these wafers! They were so good. And I remember how fun candy hearts were during Valentine's day.

  2. My husband would give me little candy hearts leaving them on my pillow, or slipping them in my pockets, etc when we were dating. It was such a sweet thing and the kind of romantic thing only teenagers can come up with. Whenever I see them it makes me smile!
