Welcome to Multiple Blessings!! Here's a bit about me and and read on to get the details about my very first giveaway(s)!

I am participating in Pensieve’s Blog Hop ‘09 . (a great Blog party for the majority of us not whooping it up at BlogHer '09) Part of the requirement to participate in the BlogHop '09 is to properly introduce myself and since this blog is in its infancy stages, here goes:

About Me: I'm 33 years old and married to my best friend David (ahhh the second time around was the charm for me) & I'm a Mom & Auntie extraordinaire of 5 kids + twins= 9 reasons 2 wake up everyday! While the they are all my children, I acquired & adopted two wonderful daughters when I remarried, Brandy (age 21, disabled & dealing with Asperger's syndrome & Bipolar disorder) and Amber (age 11), my biological kids are:Kayla (13, living with scoliosis) Liam & Lucas (9, referred to as the identical twins, dealing with ADHD and dyslexia) and my most beautiful nephews, whom I am half-raising at the moment; Nick (4) and Jake (1). Somewhere in between all that I work part time at a local hospital as an Orthopaedic Staff Nurse, night shift specifically. I am also a self described un-domesticated laundry hating, opportunity loving Diva!
I started my Blog as sort of a personal tome & release to get my write on, and to re post contests and links to blogs that I found interesting. In the little spare time that I have (which is mostly at night, when not working at the hospital and when DH and all the kiddies are fast asleep) I love to of course hang with the family, read, write, run my mouth, sleep, volunteer (classroom Mom and Girl Scout Leader) and enter/ tweet about contests (I'm a member of Online-Sweepstakes, aka GonnaWinBig). I'm not going to lie, I love free stuff and great bargains, and I love stretching our hard earned dollars since we have a huge family to provide for.

I have a dilemma. I'd really like to step into the Mom Bloggers world with unbridled enthusiasm. I am excited and would love to attend BlogHer 2010, which was recently announced that it will be in NYC at the Hilton New York from August 5-7th. NYC happens to be my stomping grounds so I am beyond ecstatic and I have a little more than 365 days to perfectly hatch a plan to attend and conquer! Here's the dilemma; You see, there are some PR opportunities I’m missing out on because of my follower numbers on Twitter and my friend connect follower numbers. I had a lofty goal of reaching 3,000 Twitter followers and/or 800 blog followers by 11:59 pm EST next Friday, July 31, 2009. Update: I'm not so sure about reaching my original goal in time, so I’ve extended the deadline to 11:59 pm EST on Monday, August 31, 2009.

I really don’t want spammy followers or people who aren’t really interested in what I have to say, so my prize is geared toward some of my favorite people in the world: Moms, Dads,Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles,etc. OKAY, I ♥♥ you all, so I dedicate my very first bloggy contest/giveaway to the heart of it all, Families.
